Smoker Evolution : From Cigarette To Vape

Assalamualaikum.......for this entry i want to share to you my experience socialize with smoking people that change to vape or e-cigarette.

   Tobacco has been growing wild in the Americas for nearly 8000 years. Around 2,000 years ago tobacco began to be chewed and smoked during cultural or religious ceremonies and events. The first European to discover smoking was Christopher Columbus. (click here for information sources). So smoking has started a long time ago and now it has become a trend in Malaysia. Every where I go, I can see Malaysian smoke a cigarette.

   Vaping or e-cigarette started in Malaysia in 2010 and has become a big evolution in how to consume nicotine in our body, but it just for a while the wave has stopped because the equipment for vaping is too expensive at that time. In 2012 vaping once more become a trend in Malaysia and until 2015 it has become national issues because many smokers has change and use vape to consume nicotine in their body.

   When i ask my friends why you stop smoking and change to vaping, the answer were.. smoking have Tar and vape have zero Tar, Cigarette smoke contains over 4,000 chemicals, including 43 known cancer-causing (carcinogenic) compounds and 400 other toxins. This includes nicotine, tar, and carbon monoxide, as well as formaldehyde, ammonia, hydrogen cyanide, arsenic, and DDT, In vaping there are only four main ingredients in every bottle of e-juice. The first one being glycerin, which is an organic compound found in vegetables, smoking make our breath and attire smells and vaping doesn't cause such a thing, the cost is smaller than smoking a cigarette and Vaping is more safe than smoking a cigarette.

   The technology has made vaping very successful because to start vaping you just need a mod, tank, e- juice and battery. The mod contain a chip that control the firing from watt and to detect the coil ohm to get the accurate firing. The technology of the mod is advance because mod model Smok Xcube Bt 50 can connect with smartphone to update the chip software and to control the menu. The tank has components such as chimney, coil base, cover and tip to control the amount of  e-juice. The battery give power to the mode to make it functional. The e-juice contains flavoring such as fruity flavors or creamy flavor and we can choose what we like.

   The conclusion I can make for smoking and vaping were, it is a choice the individual can make, if you want to smoke you can start smoking, if you want to vape, you can start vaping, but better if you don't start this type of habit because it can affect your health.

   Being a brand that is known to the world is not easy and fast. Apple Inc. become a brand that is worth at least higher than other brands like Samsung, Sony, Toyota and others. Apple Inc. is a company engaged in the field of computer technology in the Silicon Valley, the Cupertino, California on January 3, 1977. 

   Before Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs founded Apple, Steve Wozniak was a hacker. Steve Wozniak's versatility is evident since he was a child who was very fond of studying related algebra and mathematical algorithms. Steve Wozniak ability is certainly very mean in his life because both Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs during his youth belonging to the group of people with the economy down the middle stage. With the brilliant of Steve Job brain, he lead Apple Inc. into an incredible era where dominate all technology or mobile industry, especially within 2000 to 2013

   Apple vs Samsung: 2012: Apple wins $1 billion victory over Samsung

In a verdict that would have warmed the heart of the late Apple CEO Steve Jobs, a federal jury on Friday handed Apple a resounding legal victory in its bitter patent war with Samsung, ordering the South Korean tech giant to pay more than $1 billion in damages for "willfully" copying the iPhone and iPad.

Legal experts say the jury's finding of willful infringement enables Apple to seek to triple the billion-dollar damage award, already believed to be an unprecedented judgment in a patent trial. The verdict also sends a threatening message to Samsung and other Apple competitors in the mobile-phone and tablet industry that use Google's Android operating system, potentially making it harder for them to compete with the Cupertino-based tech giant in the multibillion-dollar industry.

   During the trial, Apple depicted Samsung as an unrepentant copier, scrambling in the aftermath of the iPhone's 2007 release to develop products that shared the same smartphone features and could be sold at a lower cost. Samsung, Apple insisted, cheated by copying the iPhone and later the iPad, mimicking the designs so much that Google warned Samsung the devices looked too much alike.

Apple urged the jury to award at least $2.5 billion in damages for selling tens of millions of what were branded "accused" smartphones and tablets.

   Samsung, meanwhile, portrayed Apple as a company trying to stifle competition by using lawyers and the courts to assert patent rights without legal justification. Samsung denied copying Apple in products such as the Galaxy smartphones and tablets, and told the jury that Apple's iPhone and iPad were part of an evolution in the industry, not the unprecedented innovations Apple made them out to be.

My Experience Using Mobile Phones

Assalamualaikum.....

   Hope you guys are in good and happy conditions and have time to read what i want to share with you all. In my opinions all of us have many experienced in using mobile phone in their lives, and now i want to shared with you all my experience for first time using mobile phones in my life.

 2002 - NOKIA 3310

This year, the journey start when my mom doesn't know how to use a mobile phone that given to her by my father. I see a big opportunity here and asking her if i can buy that phone from her. The result from my action was i get scolded by her because want to use mobile phone at age 15 years old, hahahaha. 

After that, i try again and again to make sure the phone are mine. Finally my mother accept my offer and i get the phone...yehaaaaa..  

   My fist mobile phone was a Nokia 3310, at the moment the world is mine hahahaha because i can use a phone without dragging a wire. That is the important intention to use a mobile phone. Nokia 3310 was considered high end at that time because the technology at that time is not so advance. When i go to school, i feel so proud because there is a phone in my pocket hohohoho. But at the time i just use that phone for sms and accept call from my friends and GIRLFRIENDS!!! no more public phone hehehe.

2006 - NOKIA N-GAGE QD

This year i use this phone because all my friend show to me the pleasure playing games in mobile phone. this model is very good because i can send pictures because the network support 2G and GPRS. The sound of the phone are, vibration downloadable polyphonic, monophonic, WAV ringtones, composer. It also has a memory card slot because this phone were specialized in playing games. This phone rocks guys....

2007- NOKIA 7610

This phone is built for class and elegant person because the design were classy and look high end when a person use it. I still remember when this model released and i see a person use it, i ask the person about the phone price and was shocked when i heard the answer. He said the phone price was rm 1900. I said to myself i want to buy that phone. After several month, my wish come true when i can buy the phone. I still can remembered the thrilled when the first time i open the phone box. This model was design to support  2G GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 and GPRS network, camera, movie editor mp3 player, memory card slot, and the display was so real and high graphic. I still remembered when i want to add music and video clip to my phone i need to pay rm 5 per song and rm 10 for per single clips. until i learn how to download it and save it in my phone....mmmmn i think i need to learn and involves in technology because it cost so much.

2008 - NOKIA 5610

To me this phone are the era of music. I use the phone because the trend is everybody like to listen music using their phone. The network support by this phone were 2G, 3G, GPRS, EDGE, the communication was so advance because i can send MMS and short video. It has camera, so i can catch a picture and send it through MMS. It also has memory card slot up to 8 GB to support more advance system. I like to use this phone because the speaker was powerful and sharp.

2012 - SAMSUNG NOTE 1

This year is when i was i start worked at KPTM KL. I buy this phone because it is suitable to use for my profession. Network support by this phone were 2G, 3G, 4G, GPRS and EDGE, easy to say it can browse the internet like a computer do. this is the era of smartphones. easy to say mobile computer. I like this model because it has large screen and it use touch screen technology. Hehehe my finger is big so i need large  screen phone. It has 8 MP, 3264 x 2448 pixels, autofocus, LED flash. The operating system are Android OS, v2.3.5 (Gingerbread), upgradable to v4.1.2 (Jelly Bean). It also easy to use to take note because it has a pen to make it efficient to take note.

2013 - SONY XPERIA Z2

I change to this model because it has a powerful operating system. It has Android OS, v4.4.2 (KitKat), v5.0.2 (Lollipop), planned upgrade to v6.0 (Marshmallow). So i can use many application because the OS can support the apps. The camera on this phone are 20.7 MP, 5248 х 3936 pixels, auto-focus, LED flash easy to say very sharp. This smartphone also can endure water, so it can take pictures in water,wawawa so advance. The network also support 4G.

2015 - ASUS ZENFONE2 

Now I use this model because my previous phone was damaged by my son. I prefer this model because the OS is Android, v5.0 (Lollipop), planned upgrade to v6.0 (Marshmallow) and it has 4gb RAM. so fast and furious hahaha. The best part about this model is i don't have to pay more than rm 2000 to get this phone, it only cost me rm 1100. the camera also not bad, it has dual sim card slot, memory card slot and my favorite is fast charging battery, doesn't need to wait long to charge the phone.

That all to me, this only my opinions and experience sharing, many things to learn.....thanks for reading..

Benefits of Technology and Business...

  Today i want to write what i know and learn about Information technology, technology and its use or benefit in business management. We know that information technology has become important in every aspect in our civilization. So its also has become a suitable partner to business management, doesn't care what types and what kinds of business you operate. before this We usually use our brain to memorizes and store data, information and many mores, but by using technology, we can use computer for data storage for business such as Inventory, sales receivable and payable stored in excel, and we can check this information by using our smartphones.

   Marketing in business has become very important component and by using technology we can improve our way in marketing. we can spread our business around the globe by using internet. we can use web presence to do the marketing. Beside that we can take orders, buy parts, sell something and can operate small business online. In addiction, we can use management skills to direct employees to do the internet marketing.

  Hence, we learned business management from books or from experiences, we need information to updates our knowledge and life. We can use the internet to gain information to keep us up to date about current trends, software, techniques, human resources and many more. For example, we can use internet to advertise and locate potential employees to our organization.

  Therefore, the common relationship between information technology and business management is communication. Communication by using email is easy, less cost, faster and with no limits. Using email to communicate with our employees and customers through email is more efficient and easy to complete a task or discuss a projects.

Threats In Information Security.

    I want to share to you about my opinions regarding threats in information security trends. Base on year 2014 in information security circles, it seems that there are never-ending stream of cyber-threats and data breaches, affecting banks, retailers, gaming networks, governments and more. After doing some review about this topic, i found that there are some trends that can effect the Information security nowadays.

    The first trends is Cyber crime. As we all know, internet has become very important in our life because we use internet in everything, for example manage our schedule or daily life, manage business, playing games and many mores. So internet has become a good sources and attractive hunting ground for terrorist, criminal, hackers and many more to make money. 
    Cyber criminals can take information and use against us and can cause disruption and even bring down corporation and government system through online attacks. We need to know that Cyber criminals were expert and highly skilled and also equipped with very high end or modern equipment, if we a using 20th century systems they are using 21th century tools to take advantage on our systems. So in 2015, we need to prepare for something impossible to happen so that we are ready to counter the Cyber crime.

   The second trends is privacy and regulation, most country or government have created or in process creating regulations that impose conditions on the safeguard and use Personally Identifiable Information (PII). In addiction the government need to protect their privacy and need to treat privacy as both a compliance and business risk issues, in order to maintain their reputation and loss of customers due to information breaches.

   The last trends is  the threats from third-party providers. Networking, and supply chains has become vital and very important components and has become the core of business of every organizations. But we need to remember, the larger the business, the larger the threats will be. The security department has become more concerned about how vulnerable they are to risk and threats because of the third party providers. Many information are shared with the suppliers, and when the information is shared the direct control is lost, it means the information can be given to anybody to take advantage to the organization. To manage this problem, the organization need to managed a well-structured supply chain information risk assessment approach can provide a detailed, step by step approach to portion an otherwise daunting projects into manageable components.

   In year 2015, we need to evolve from promoting awareness of the problem to creating solutions and protect important information. so we need to find solutions, for examples install a antivirus for personal notebook or smart phone is a great step to avoid this problems. The organizations also needs to use the most high end technology to improves their business process and information.
